Robert Peterson was the Headmaster and teacher at The Pilgrim Academy for 25 years. Mr. Peterson was a Deacon at the Emmanuel Congregation Church, Egg Harbor City, President of the Garden State Association of Christian Schools, author of several books, a journalist for local newspapers, and several well-known periodicals. A $1,000 scholarship is given to a graduating senior in his honor.
